Learn how to use layouts and pace to create a compelling story in this one-day online workshop.
With expert guidance from award-winning author-illustrator Claire Alexander, you will learn how to tell a simple story with dynamic images and layouts. You will learn about pace, building drama and which points in a story to illustrate. By the end of the workshop, you will have created a 16-page thumbnail storyboard that can be made into a dummy picture book.
This workshop is recommended for people with some experience of drawing. Our small class size of no more than 20 students will ensure that you receive personalised feedback and group support in a relaxed and friendly learning environment.
